creature types
I'm planning on adding a pommel of (creature slaying) to my sword. but...
i'm having trouble with these creature types: Shadow army creatures grasping darkness dryders smite crawlers are these considered demons? if not, then what kind of slaying mod should i use? (trying to make a sword for DoA/UW/FoW) |

Unfortunately none are considered Demons, and no other slaying mod will get them.

being that the mod you speak of is the suffix mod, you are generally better off with fortitude or some armor mod, maybe enchanting. that way the sword will be better in more than 1 situation

you're going to want a +30 for general usage in anything that you ever do.

If i wanted a +30 mod i would have said. and i have like 20 swords with fort mods, i'm creating a sword for special situations. my friends created a +100%dmg sword, and i am too
(the sword he created using the +100% is from an old sword, its drop has been nerfed, or its from an old quest, not too sure) |

if that amount of mods were even real you wouldn't be able to make it again since you said it was nerfed. + its only 90% |

60% is the greatest direct %damage increase possible from mods. (not counting malfunctioning 25% vs charr mods)
20%customized 20% vs. creature type (xxx slaying) 20% below 50% health OR 20% while hexed 20/20 is a sundering mod, and causes a 1 in 5 chance of 20% armor penetration on each hit. not 20% more damage. also , smites might be affected by a deathbane mod, not sure tho |

They multiply, so three +20%s equal +73%.

Weapons never dropped with two inherent modifiers.

I'd love to see a screenshot of this weapon. If it really has those 2 inherents, it would be worth an astounding amount of gold.
Then again, it's customised, so it's worth exactly zip ^^

Old quest sword would mean one of the reward items off a Prophecies quest. Those don't come maxed. So how many times would a non-max sword have to be multiplied for it to do 90 damage?
*edit Quote:
Some big secret. Doubts still remain as those no way I can see how you can mod a 10-14 sword to do an average of 90 damage per hit on a Margonite. Last edited by DarkFlame; Mar 30, 2008 at 04:07 AM // 04:07.. |
